Victory Over The Sun is the avant-metal project of Vivian Tylinska. Her poetic lyricism collaborates with compositions that are intricately layered with sonic textures oscillating between the tempestuous to the playful, with trance-like motifs often reaching into the carnivalesque.

Drawing inspiration from the Futurist opera and band’s namesake, as well as found metal objects, I aimed to create a visual potpourri that balances elements of absurdity, illegibility, and texture, while mirroring the brightness present throughout Vivian’s musical architectures.
